If you love animals like I do—today's video might be a little hard to watch in the beginning—but it has a VERY happy ending.
The video tells the story of a kayaker finding a starving dog on a remote island near Belize—and then his efforts to save the pup.
The man instantly fell in love with the little emaciated dog that he began calling Winston—and loaded him on his kayak to take him back to the resort where he was staying.
That's when he discovered the kindness of many people.
The guy had to leave the next day and left Winston with a vet, who then turned him over to a foster family who began caring for him.
Eventually, Winston returned to full health and was well enough to be sent on a flight to be reunited with his rescuer in Montana—where he found a loving home equipped with two other dog pals he can romp and play with.
