Perhaps you've already encountered the unusual (to say the least) music videos put out by the 6'8", dead-pan clown, Puddles Pity Party (AKA Mike Geier).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Geier
It seems a lot of people love the Puddles—because his YouTube channel has over 559,000 subscribers—and he's was on season 12 of America's Got Talent where he advanced to the quarter-finals.
According to the Wikipedia entry about him:
"Mike Geier's most critically acclaimed act is his alter ego: a Pagliacci-type clown named Puddles Pity Party [and he] now performs almost exclusively as Puddles."
Screen Grab From The Video Below |
On October 4, 2019—Puddles released a live video of his live acoustic cover of Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne (of Black Sabbath and TV's The Osbournes fame)—and it already has nearly 130,000 views.
Ozzy's Crazy Train original has been a staple of radio air-play, and is often featured in movies etc—and many are familiar with his version—so it's interesting to hear Puddle's contemplative, slowed down cover, and unless you've really examined the lyrics before, realize that they are pretty "deep" and more thought-provoking than expected from a "heavy metal" rock anthem.
Hope you enjoy this too!
