If you enjoy seeing well-crafted 2D style animation, then check out the two videos below.
The first video features the short animation, Mostera Deliciosa, which was used as an opening short film for the Annecy 2009 International Animation Film Festival (FIFA), and was created by students from Gobelins - School of Image.
The animation weaves eye-pleasing backgrounds with well designed character designs and flowing movement, into a short tale about a hapless "lamplighter" being enticed through a lush and fanciful forest.

The video below it shows the "making of" process for Monstera Deliciosa — including character design and background iterations—and color, animation and lighting tests.
If you like seeing how animations are brought to life—then no doubt you'll find it informative and interesting.
