Bee Gees (Top) and AC / DC - Screen Captures From The Video
If you are familiar with 70's music—and liked both the Bee Gees and AC/DC—you'll probably love this mash-up.
Wax Audio did an amazing job of blending together the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive" and AC/DC's "Back In Black"—along with combining an excellently edited video of both acts performing the songs.
Screen Capture From The Video Of A Bear Stalking Two Hikers
Imagine hiking along a trail and then encountering a bear—that instead of running off begins stalking you—often coming within feet.
Two hikers on a trail didn't have to imagine this scenario—it happened to them.
The video shows the bear relentlessly coming after the two hikers who try to scare the bear off—and each time this appears to work—the bear quickly renews stalking the pair.
It looks like a smaller black bear—but even so it could do a lot of damage to a person—or even kill them.
It's obvious neither man had a weapon or bear spray—and eventually both are understandably terrified.
Check out the video—and then think about what you might do in this situation.
I've never been much of a student of science and found myself scraping through those classes when I was young—but I can certainly admit that it a lot of it is interesting.
Steve Mould is a self described "science presenter" and has a website and YouTube channel where he uploads all kinds of cool science videos and reports.

Recently I found a video of his about Lycopodium Powder—or as it is otherwise called Dragon's Breath—and it has amazing properties that he demonstrates in the video embedded below.
I won't give a single thing away about it—so I don't detract from your enjoyment of it—but urge you to take a look for yourself.
Image From The Video: Ultraviolet Light Reveals Sun Damaged Skin
Hello,
I've lived in California and Arizona now for more than half of my life.
In addition to the meciless sun in Arizona, when I was young I spent many hours on the beaches at Venice and Santa Monica seldom wearing sunscreen—in fact I often used suntan lotions that were supposed to magnify the effects of the sun.
All these years later I can see with my own eyes some of the damage I've done to my skin from constant exposure to the sun—along with a number of wonderful sun burns. : P

So when I found this video recently (embedded below)—showing both the effects of sun damage on the skin with ultra violet (and as importantly what sunscreen does) I knew I wanted to share it here.

I hope everyone who sees this will consider shielding their skin with sunscreen (as seen in the image above)—not just to protect from aging and damaging your skin—but also from potential dangers such as skin cancer.
Not everyone could handle the simple kind of life that is represented by the embedded video below—but there is no doubt there is something appealing about it.
In Canada a young couple with five daughters live almost completely "off the grid."

According to Dad Jeff: "It wasn't about getting rich—it was about needing less money. It was about owning our own land—of being debt free. And now we spend way less time working, and way more time doing whatever we want."
Mom Rose adds that in 2011 the family bought a "beautiful, forested 40 acre piece of land."
According to the couple they keep everything "small and simple"—while the land provides everything they need including most of their food.

It is definitely a life very different from what most people are accustomed to—but it looks like it could be wonderful too.
To learn more about the family—they have both both a YouTube channel and blog:
According the the New York Times, a Houston, Texas man was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of his 9th DUI offense (driving while intoxicated)
They report: "Such a harsh sentence is uncommon for drunken-driving convictions, which
often lead to temporary license suspensions and prison stays that allow
repeat offenders to return to the road."
According to the article, Donald Middleton, 56, "had eight prior convictions for driving while intoxicated and still had a valid driver’s license.
But the judge in his 9th case, Kathleen Hamilton of the 359th District Court in Texas, had "had enough" and "sentenced him to life in prison. He won’t be eligible for parole for 30 years."

The article goes on to say: "He
was arrested in May 2015 after he turned into the wrong lane and
collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old who was on the
way home from work at a grocery store. Mr. Middleton ran into a nearby
convenience store and repeatedly asked a clerk to hide him, prosecutors
said.
He
had a blood-alcohol level of 0.184, more than twice the legal limit,
0.08, according to Justin Fowles, a Montgomery County assistant district
attorney. Mr. Middleton pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated
last May and has been in jail since.
The
teenager, Joshua Hayden, was not injured, but his father, Rowdy Hayden,
said in a telephone interview that he appreciated the judge’s harsh
sentence."
I've attached an Associate Press video about the story below.
So what do you think?
Was the sentence justified? Was it fair? Was it long overdue?
Question: How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: 100
1 to do it and 99 to say “I could have done that...but WAY better”. *
: )

I came across amazing video of a Argentinean Street Guitarist, Damian Salazar, absolutely blazing through a rendition of Dire Straits, "Sultans Of Swing".
A screen capture from the video of Damien Salazar performing
All combined, his videos, have multi-millions of views...and his talent is unmistakable.
* Ummmm...unless you're a guitarist, apparently. The comments on this video are pretty evenly divided between people stunned in amazement at his talent...and guitarists (seemingly green with envy) disparaging Damien's playing for one reason or another.
: ) It's pretty hilarious to say the least. Anywho...I hope you'll give the video a view and a listen. Enjoy!
I just found this very cool video about a Chinese concept for a bus.
From the YouTube description: "Tired of traffic jams and tail gas? The design of electric "straddling
buses" lets cars drive underneath them, and can help reduce air
pollution. Also known as land airbus, the new invention is less costly
than subway systems."
A Screen Capture From The Video
It can carry over 1000 passengers and travel up to 60 Kilometers an hour or around 40 mile per hour and costs only 16% of building a subway.
Powered by electricity the bus could replace as many as 40 conventional buses potentially saving 800 tons of fuel annually.
Though the quality is pretty low...and the camera at an angle...this is an amazing video!!
Don't let the nice sky in background fool you
Taken from a Dash-Cam...it shows a scooter driver being passed dangerously and cut-off by a car.
A screen capture from the video
This slows the scooter driver down just a bit...and the video ends with a VERY lucky scooter driver...and a "not so lucky" car driver.
Information from the video's description indicates it occurred on May 26, 2016 (video date
is wrong), in Russia on the Rostov-Taganrog highway in the Neklinovsky area.
As a
result of the accident a woman was
taken to the hospital. There is no indication of the extent of her injuries or if anyone else was injured.
Neither the scooter Driver or the driver of the car with the cam were hurt.
Warning: This video may not be appropriate for everyone...please use discretion before viewing it!
"[Dylan] discovered Howlin’ Wolf at the age of 10. He is prone to saying things
like, 'I cut my teeth playing blues bars in Illinois' and it’s actually
true. Did we mention that Dylan is 18?
....[Dylan] signed to Warner Bros. Records in August 2014,
on the strength of his independent album Adventures in Real Time and the
2.7 million Spotify plays its lead-off track 'Let’s Get Started'."
We are definitely living in an amazing age. Things that people only once dreamed of...can often now be made in someone's basement or garage.
Case in point: Colin Furze was challenged to build a working Hover-Bike...and after some experimenting with various designs eventually did in fact create a successful version.
His YouTube video reveals it isn't perfected yet...but it seems to me that it might only be a matter of time before he and/or others do so.
Either way...it's a pretty enjoyable video...so I hope you'll take a mo' to check it out.
Writer and Comedian James Veitch Speaking At His Recent Ted Talk
Hi!
I imagine everyone by now has received one of THOSE e-mails....
You know...the one from someone...often a Nigerian Prince...offering you easy money...IF you only help them get untold millions of dollars...or gold...etc...out of their country.
But first you must transfer money to them! A thousand or two is usually a good start.
: )
Of course...most of us KNOW it's just a scam and delete the e-mail and move on.
But writer and comedian James Veitch received such an e-mail...and decided to begin a correspondence with a scammer...with hilarious results.
He shared all about it at a recent TED Talk you see in the video below.
