Excellent Short And Moving Animation: A Tale

Just happened across another outstanding short (2:24) animation from France's GOBELINS - "School of the Image."

The animation is.simply called, The Tale—though the story is very moving and packs an emotional wallop in the end.

Directed by Guillaume Arantes as a Graduation Project—creating The Tale utilized both 2D and 3D techniques, but leaned heavily on hand-drawing and in the end looks more like classic 2D animation—and everything including lighting, composition, and characters are all well done.
