----------------------------

Hi!

As 2017 draws to a close — I hope your year was a good one — and 2018 will bring you nothing but the best!

-------------------

I just came across the story of a woman, Christina Calvo, who saw a man without a coat in the bitter cold — and cell phone video has revealed to the world — her act of kindness, generosity, mercy, and love.

On her Facebook page, Christina explains :

https://www.facebook.com/christina.calvo/videos/10213369640648672/

"I was driving down Meriden rd in waterbury and saw this man with no coat. I looked down and seen it’s only 18 degrees out and I started to cry for him. I drove to Burlington coat factory and bought the warmest coat I could find and sped back in hopes he was still there and he was! Nobody should ever be without a coat in this weather. He was so thankful for it. I put it on him and zipped it up gave him a hug and wished him a merry Christmas."

--------------------------

At this time her video has been seen on Facebook over 2.5 million times — and many more on other media platforms like YouTube and Live Leak.

I hope you enjoy seeing it too — and I pray it will inspire every one of us to do the same when we see people in need.

Merry Christmas 2017

So — give it a spin — and as always if you don't like it your admission will be fully refunded at the door.

40 Years Ago Today, Radio Shack Released The TRS-80 Computer

Radio Shack's TRS -80 Computer in 1977

Hi!

Most of us use our electronic devices like computers, smart-phones, and tablets every day — and even some older folks have started to take all this wonderful technology for granted.

In fact, people born in the last 10 to 20 years may find it difficult to imagine a world without them.

-------------

Today on LiveLeak someone posted that it was 40 years ago today that Radio Shack (Tandy Corporation) released their TRS-80 computer — and they embedded a video of an early commercial first aired in 1978 - which I've attached below.

They seemed like little more than toys — and a lot of folks couldn't imagine what this new technology would mean for the future.

I certainly couldn't!!

If you'd like to know more about this early computer please visit:

Man Creates Inter-Dimensional Portal In His Bathroom

Screen Capture From The Video: Man Creates Inter-Dimensional Portal In His Bathroom

Hi!

I remember not long ago —  when you could visit YouTube and be dazzled by 100's of innovative and entertaining videos.

As they switched over from an open format to "channels" - most of their videos are now popular culture offerings and main stream content — and it's gotten harder and harder to find anything truly unique there anymore.

Thankfully other video sites similar to YouTube have stepped in — and more and more that's where I find myself spending time if I want to just randomly search for interesting videos.

(Please see Live-Leak WARNING under the video below *)

Today while on video sharing site, Live-Leak, I found a very cool video a guy shared of his "Inter-Dimensional Portal In His Bathroom."

; )

It's quite entertaining to watch (and the "screen-capture above does NOT do it justice!).

And I'll even add a guarantee:  If you watch it and disagree — just let the concierge know and your money will be cheerfully refunded!

; )

Enjoy!

Thanks as always for stopping by!

* WARNING: Live-Leak is not for the faint of heart.  Along with videos of all kinds like the one shared above — they also allow content that YouTube will not — such as violence, car crashes, suicides, and other graphic videos — and although the comments are moderated for racist and hate speech - many users are insulting, crude and/or obscene.

Man Skips Work For 6 To 14 Years And Gets Award

Maybe The Guy Spent some Time On His "Paid Vacation" here: Lloret de Mar Beach, Costa Brava, Spain

Hi!

I LOVE this story!

Last year, the The Guardian reported that a man who was working as a government building supervisor in Spain — and was collecting over 41 thousand dollars a year — had NOT BEEN TO WORK IN 6 To 14 YEARS!!

"Authorities" discovered this only AFTER he was given an AWARD FOR TWENTY YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE — and that's when they discovered his empty office and that he'd stopped coming to work MANY years ago!!

: )

IMO — It's quite hilarious and mirrors our U.S. Government — where they wouldn't be missed if they just stopped showing up.

hahaha

Anywho — you can check out the link below to the article and read a bit more about it by following this link:

Hilarious Video: Bird Lands On TV Reporters Head

A Screen Capture From The Video Below: A Bird Lands On A Reporter's Head In Turkey
Hi!

Although it's not in English — the video below is pretty funny!

It was posted on LiveLeak — a video sharing site like YouTube — and shows a reporter in Turkey preparing to interview a woman.

As he speaks and the woman patiently waits beside him — a small bird lands on the reporter's head!

What makes it especially funny is that the reporter has no reaction to the bird sitting on his head — AT ALL — and although the woman seems to notice it — she only reacts with a smile — and both of them go on like NOTHING happened.

Makes one wonder if birds land on people's heads all the time in Turkey.  : )

Hope you get a kick out of the video too!

Fascinating Video: Aluminum Sand Molding

A Look At A Few Of The Manufacturing Steps From The Video

 Hi!

I just came across a mesmerizing video of a factory using a process with "green sand" to create molds for parts.

The Indiana (USA) manufacturer makes various parts for different companies and you can read more about them on their website:

http://www.phillipspatterns.com/

Their factory looks like something out of Lord of the Rings — it is dark — probably very hot since they are using molten aluminum — and all the workers are completely focused on their tasks — and work very quickly — and are obviously VERY good at what they do . *

I could go into a long explanation of the process — but watching the video will do a better job of it than I could with a thousand words.

: )

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

* Sadly in the comments below the video on YouTube — the company says it will automate the process later this year (2017) — meaning these skilled workers will no longer be needed — but they say they will be training them to manage and maintain the new equipment.

Hope this is true!

Video: Hilarious Marathon Finish

The video below is very low quality—but too funny not to share

Video Screen Capture: The Look Of Surprise On Two Runner's Faces As They Are Passed At The Last Second
Video Screen Capture: The Look Of Surprise On Two Runner's Faces As They Are Passed At The Last Second
Hi!

There is an old saying: "It ain't over 'til it's over"—and it is repeated through the years for GOOD reason.

But YouTube and other sites are filled to the brim with videos of athletes who thought they'd won an event—celebrate too early—and in those few moments of premature celebration—lose their victory.

------------------------

About the video below—Running Magazine says two Canadian Olympic athletes Natasha Wodak and Lanni Marchant—thought they'd share First and Second together at the Run Barbados Marathon—by holding hands as they crossed the finish line.

What they don't see is a very determined runner rapidly approaching behind them.

The winner, Trinidad and Tobago’s Tonya Nero, finished just ONE SECOND before the two women who were content to coast across the line—thinking they'd split the purse for their top two finishes.

OOOPS!

 Hi!

I found this funny video—that at first just seems like it's unexplainable:  Why would a guy would leave his porch and then suddenly turn and run back on it for no apparent reason.

But then—it becomes very obvious why!!

I won't give away the secret—so you'll have to watch the 29 second video for yourself.

Video: Golden Man "Frozen" In The Street

A Screen Capture From The Video Below
A Screen Capture From The Video Below

Hi!

I found this video of a street performer very enjoyable to watch.

It seems like it must take a lot of strength and energy to do this sort of thing—but both the guy and the crowd seem to be enjoying themselves.

Each time someone gives a little money to him—he does a little added performance.

At one point he involves a little girl—and she seems to both enjoy herself—and feel a little embarrassed at the same time.

Please check it out!

Video: Angry Pedestrian Gets Instant Pay-Back

A Screen Capture From The Video Below: An Angry Pedestrian Just Before Instant "Reward."

 Hi!

Cultures all over the world have terms and words for instantly getting paid-back for something you've done wrong.

Some call it "karma"—some say "what goes around comes around"—and the Bible calls it "reaping what we sow."

Sometimes it seems so delayed though—and it can be frustrating to watch someone who deserves a big pay-back—to seemingly get away unscathed.

Perhaps that's why watching the video posted below is so enjoyable to me.

In the video you see a very ANGRY Australian pedestrian crossing at an intersection getting an instant, much deserved "reward" for his angry behavior.

Enjoy!

Hi!

I just saw this video and found it fascinating—and even through the picture quality is very low—I KNEW it had to be shared.

In it an older woman—who is completely blind—is able to hit bulls-eye after bulls-eye on a distant target using just sound to help her locate the target.

Please watch the entire video which is only 36 seconds long to get the full effect of her abilities.

Can You Believe What You See? Advertisers Using CG To Sell Their Cars

Hi!

If you've watched any Marvel movies lately — or any number of Hollywood blockbuster movies — you are no doubt aware of how much computer's have changed the ability for film makers to create almost anything on the screen.

What fewer people may be aware of — is that advertisers are using the same technology to sell us their products.

Case in point from the video below:  A company called the Mill has a vehicle called the  BLACKBIRD.

It is a fully adjustable car rig that allows computer graphic bodies to be placed over it without the need to rely on a physical car.

A Screen Capture The Video Showing How The Color & Accessories Can Be Changed Using CG

--------------------------------

The frame and wheel base can be lengthened or shortened to approximate any vehicle and allows manufacturers to shoot at at any time, in any location — even before final designs are finished on a production model.

The video shows exactly how this works in action.

Check it out — and then wonder: Can You Believe Anything You See On TV?

AMAZING Street Performer - Hit The Road Jack - Acapella

Hi!

I just stumbled across a pretty cool performance from the TV Show X-Factor, New Zealand.

In the video below you'll see and hear a 20-Year Old Street Performer create an amazing acapella version of "Hit The Road Jack," by layering in a number of different parts with effects pedals — imitating drums, bass and even horn parts — and adding vocals over the top.

Video: BEAUTIFUL Wire Sculpture By Fantasywire

Hi!

A few years ago I took an intro sculpting class and really enjoyed it.

One of the project was creating a wire sculpture.

I chose to create a dragonfly and made it with about a two foot wide wing span.

It turned out pretty well and a classmate offered to buy it — but since it was my first sculpture like it — I decided to keep it.

------------------------

Today I found an AMAZING video and photos of a LARGE wire sculpture called 1 O'clock Wish by Robin Wright — aka Fantasywire.

http://fantasywire.deviantart.com/art/1-O-clock-wish-382604771

https://www.facebook.com/Fantasywire/

In some of the links about it she also refers to this sculpture as "Dancing with Dandelions" as well.

Pictures of it are awesome — but the video of it spinning on it's base really gives you the full impact of this incredible piece.

SING Preview Trailers - Animation, Comedy

You'll find the Video embedded below

----------------------

I finally was able watch SING—the 3D Animation Movie from late last year—and found it over-all very enjoyable.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sing_(2016_American_film)

From the same people who created Despicable Me—the story-line is one well-tread by a lot of movies in this genre:  Overcoming obstacles of all kinds to achieve your dreams—and learning the value of friendships.

A Screen Capture From "SING"
A Screen Capture From "SING"

So in that regard it doesn't really break any new ground—but as a light comedy for kids (and one with enough humor to keep the grown-ups entertained) it more than succeeds.

It features a LOT of familiar pop music—and the character voices and singing talent is superb

The cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton and Tori Kelly.

Jennifer Hudson sings an amazing rendition of Golden Slumbers (Carry That Weight)—an old Beatles song too.

Here's a full length version of that:

Anywho, if you have some kiddies—or just like 3D Animation—I definitely recommend checking it out.

Video: What A Fantastic Break

Video Below

Hi!

This video may not be for everyone—but I found it mesmerizing to watch.

-----------------------------

Back in the day I used to play a little Pool (also known as Billiards)—enough to realize like any game it takes a LOT of practice and skill to become a great player.

Part of the art comes from not just making a shot but leaving the cue ball in position for your next shot.

A Screen Capture From The Video Below: Ronnie O'Sullivan In The Process Of Clearing A Snooker Table
A Screen Capture From The Video Below: Ronnie O'Sullivan In The Process Of Clearing A Snooker Table

An accomplished player can do this very well—and is thinking not only about the next shot but many more in advance—and puts spin (or English) on the cue ball to move it into position.

This requires a great deal of practice and skill.

----------------

If you're like me you've never heard of Ronnie O'Sullivan—but the video below shows him clearing an entire table in a game of Snooker—which is similar to pool.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snooker

He makes shot after shot, perfectly placing the cue ball for the next.

As I said above—I found it mesmerizing to watch.

Good Samaritian Helps Family Trapped In Crash - Gets Billed $143

Hi!

This is the kind of story that makes my blood boil at our modern world.

A man in Sacramento, California, stopped to help a family who were trapped by a wreck they were in.

He broke out a window on their vehicle and had a small cut on his hand as a result.

After first responders arrived, a paramedic offered to check the Good Samaritan's pulse and gave him a bottle of water.

Weeks later he received a bill in the mail from them for $143.00.

When interviewed by CBS news the man said it makes him wonder why he should ever stop to help someone again.

Screen Capture From The Video Below: The Fire Chief Cheerfully Offers That The Bill Can Be "Appealed"
Screen Capture From The Video Below:  The Fire Chief Cheerfully Offers That  The Bill Can Be "Appealed"

To make matters worse when confronted about the bill—rather than just saying it would be "taken care of"—the Fire Chief cheerfully says the bill can be "appealed."

Such idiocy—it boggles the mind.

Reminds me of the dystopian movie Brazil—where a society is so hamstrung by Bureaucratic "red tape" and having to fill out the right forms—and they become so focused on that—that they lose whatever sense of common decency and humanity they otherwise might've had.

Thanks for stopping by!

And for Heaven's sake—please fill out form 27 Dash B 29 before heading out.

Thanks again.

Amazing Video: Man Calls And Elephants Come Running!

Hi!

If it isn't apparent by now—I LOVE animals.  Whenever I see a video of someone snuggling with a a HUGE lion or bear—or getting chummy with any number of wild creatures—I always want to be able to do it myself.

Today I came across this video from the Elephant Nature Park—a sanctuary and rescue center in Northern Thailand—who've dedicated themselves to saving endangered Asian Elephants:

http://www.saveelephant.org

In the video—a man calls to five giant elephants some distance away—and four of the gigantic beasts come running to him and encircle him—and you can hear their trumpets and low (contented?) rumbles.

A Screen Capture From The Video Below

Obviously this man and these beasts have formed a bond—just like we all do with our domestic pets.

It must be awesome to be in his shoes—and to be able to spend time around these magnificent beasts.

Hope you give the video below a spin and enjoy it as much as I did.

Amazing Video: Couple Interacts With Massive Bears

Hi,

I happened across this video a while ago and was just reminded about it.

It comes from the Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York—and features, Jimmy/Jimbo their 20 year old, 1,400 pounds and 9 feet tall, Kodiak bear—which is a type of brown bear (like the grizzly).

While the couple who run the orphanage rescue and release all kinds of injured animals—the video just focuses on a few of their bears.

Gentle Giant Jimbo Gets Some Lovin' At The Orphaned Wildlife Center
Gentle Giant Jimbo Gets Some Lovin' At The Orphaned Wildlife Center

They currently care for 11 bears that cannot be returned to the wild (most were rescued as cubs from breeding programs or nature reserves that closed down).

It's awesome to see this couple interacting with these giant animals—that could easily kill them with a single swipe of their massive paws or a crunch with their large sharp teeth—giving the bears snuggles and rubs and treats—and it appears the bears love the couple in return.

Check out their website and give the video posted below a spin.

Awesome Video: BBC Slow Motion, Timelapse AND HYPER-Lapse Photography

Hi,

Just came upon this Vox video breaking down the evolution of slow motion and time-lapse photography created by the BBC and others—and used in wildlife and nature films like Planet Earth.

Even though I know a little about the subject and have done a little of both—I found it very interesting—and the images/examples are spectacular.

For example—how do they film a hummingbird so you can see their wings moving slowly; or watch plants grow and wind their way around each other and so on.

The video also gives a brief look at a new way of shooting called Hyper-lapse photography.

That is a little difficult to to explain without seeing it—so if you're curious—just give the video a spin to check it out.

Video: Modern Educayshun?

Hi,

You'll find a very interesting, darkly humorous video at the bottom of this post about the political correctness that has engulfed our schools and has created a generation or two who's minds have been so severely played with—many are left incapable of rational thought.

A Screen Capture From The Video Below
A Screen Capture From The Video Below
 ---------------------

First a little info (unless of course you want to go straight on to the video embedded below).

I just finished watching an excellent video by Charlotte Eserbyt about the corruption of our education system by Marxism, socialism and globalism.

The Untold Historical Truth Of American Education

In that video, Iserbyt talks about how our schools have been infiltrated and taken over at the highest levels by people who want to produce a docile, easily controlled, worker class—who are educated just enough to serve their "Masters" but incapable of raising themselves up to anything else.

What she says is enlightening to say the least, and helps explain the current crisis we're in—and I highly recommend checking it out.

----------------------

In the video below, we see the effects of this brainwashing taking place in a fictional "math" class where teachers and students regard each other suspiciously and are applauded for regurgitating political correctness.

Video: Heart Warming or Fat Shaming Commercial?

Hi,

Just today I happened upon an awesome commercial from a supermarket chain, Edeka, in Germany.

It's set in a town filled with people who have been making very unhealthy eating choices resulting in an obese population—and a young teenage boy who wants to break free from this cycle.

Some people have attacked the advertisement for "fat shaming"—but I saw it as empowering (and I have more than a few pounds to lose myself).

Hope you enjoy it and feel empowered by watching it yourself.

Awesome Video: CUTE Four Year Old Sings With Daddy

Hi!

Just came across this awesome video of four year old Claire Ryann singing "You've Got A Friend In Me" (the Toy Story theme song) with her daddy, Dave Crosby.

I'm not normally into "kid" performers because they are usually either slick, stiff "products" shilled by stage-parents—or entertaining only to their parents, family and friends.

But Claire is so unaffected and adorable—AND she puts her whole heart into singing.

It seems that she and her daddy share a special bond too.
